Living Night started as a Maine Girl Scout Gold Award project. Education connects us all to the profound impact of light pollution on all living beings. By raising awareness, together we can reconnect with nature and
see the natural rhythms of day and night, essential for healthy life: migration, pollination, reproduction, and sleep. Get outdoors and look! Allow your eyes to adjust and see the living night.
Stargazing, hearing birds and peepers, seeing fireflies and salamanders relaxes and brings joy. Change your home lights to

to protect all nature including us.
